The service includes high energy current praise songs, videos and the same message as the earlier services.

Last Sunday Pastor Rudy's message was titled "Healed." Scripture readings were Psalm 147:1-11 and Mark 1:29-39. Worship leader Bill Payne shared that Psalm 147 is one of the final five psalms that begin and end with "Praise the Lord!" For believers the first and final word is always praise.
In Mark 29-39, Jesus healed the sick and he cast out the demons. He immediately healed Peter's mother-in-law. Sickness is not demon possessed. Faith in Christ allows us to be a vessel for healing. All healing is of God. God promises us to be with us in our suffering. Trusting and enabling us to feel his presence. He renews and strengthens our relationship with Christ. There is emotional and spiritual healing. There needs to be faith of the person needing healing and the believer. Forgiveness is necessary. Reconciliation between God and humanity. Unforgiveness is a cancer that eats away of a Christian. Bitterness causes us to to fail to receive forgiveness. We are in the dark trapped like hostages if we have unforgiveness in our lives. Let the power of forgiveness bring you to a new light of Christ!
The mission team is on the move filling Valentine bags with cards and candy for the Cookson Hills Center children to share with at a party on Valentine's Day. A group will be going to Camp Gruber March 1st to help with the new chapel.
The United Methodist Women are meeting Wednesday February 8th at 9:00 am for a Women in Faith Video series. Bring a potluck dish for noon and enjoy this video series. They are also collecting valentines for veterans.
The Children's First After School Program has fun activities every Tuesday from 3:00 till 6:00 pm.
Everyone is invited to Wednesday worship at 6:30 pm.
A thought for the week:
Peace is the presence of the holy spirit not just the absence of conflict.
